Entry requirements

Vienna International Airport (VIE), Austria
The Vienna International Airport in Schwechat is located about 20 kilometres south-east of Vienna’s city center. When arriving at Vienna International Airport you can choose from several possibilities to get to the city center:
- Taxi (price: approx. 35 €)
- Bus (Vienna Airport Lines; price: 8 €)
- Train connection
- City Airport Train (ticket: 12 €; ride time: 16 minutes) to “Wien-Mitte”
- Suburban railway S-Bahn train (ticket: 4,40€; ride time: 25 minutes) to “Wien-Mitte”
- ÖBB Railject/IC to Wien Hauptbahnhof (ticket: 4,40€; ride time: 15 minutes)
Bratislava Airport (BTS), Slovakia
Bratislava Airport, located about 80 kilometres east of Vienna, is connected with Vienna trough an international bus connections. For details see the website of Bratislava airport.
Arrival by train
When arriving in Vienna at “Wien Hauptbahnhof” (main train station) take the metro line U1 in direction to “Leopoldau”, get off at the station “Karlsplatz” and take the exit “Karlsplatz” to get to the conference location.
Arrival by car
When arriving by car the most convenient parking lot is “Tiefgarage Karlsplatz” (daily rate is 10 €) entrance at Mattiellistrasse 2-4, 1040 Wien.
Please note that for the entire area surrounding the conference location short-term parking applies on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 10 pm (max. parking time 1,5 hours to 2 hours; rate for 1 hour parking is 2 €).
Arrival by bus
Vienna International Busterminal (VIB) is the central arrival and departure place for international bus connections. Vienna International Busterminal can be reached easily with metro line U3, exit “Erdberg”.
